The bride and groom
Patricia Washburn and William Bradford were married April 22,
2000, in their hometown of Wells, Maine. The groom is a
dealer in ancient artifacts, and both are passionate about
ancient history. They decided to re-enact an
ancient Roman wedding ceremony. They were married in the evening, a tradition that made things
interesting when a storm knocked out the electric power in the
wedding hall for the ceremony and reception.
