The ring
The engagement ring is another bit of wedding tradition that goes back
to Roman times. Traditionally, the groom bought the bride a ring to
celebrate their betrothal, though it may have been iron or bronze
instead of gold. Here, Pat and Will are exchanging wedding rings, a
custom that didn't develop until after Roman times.

Interesting wedding ritual had romans. I wish I could travel in time to be able to participate to such a ceremonial.

There is no wedding without a valuable piece of jewelry, this how we know to celebrate, this is how we feels spoiled and special.

What an interesting blog, is there really possible to perform a roman wedding nowadays? I would sure love to make it my own just like that, I also liked the engagement ring part, it's been a while since I last saw bronze jewelry. Speaking of this, can I find bronze bridal jewelry?
